Group classes for children focused on stories: what are they and how do we tell them ourselves?

Using the plethora of wonderful stories the world has to offer, from ancient myths to Roald Dahl novels to Pixar screenplays, we study what makes a hero, what makes a villain, and the many morals and lessons within. Students begin to write their own stories using those studied as inspiration.

Not only does this allow for vast improvement in creative writing and clarity of communication, it expands the student’s awareness of the world we live in, nourishing their critical thinking, moral reasoning and judgement.

Classes are held within the old city walls of Chichester, UK.

One-on-one sessions over video call.

We focus on clarity of communication, both spoken and written. This can range from acute, technical study of grammar and syntax, to broad explorations of Philosophy, Theology, Psychology, Law, Language and more.

Throughout these sessions the student develops their understanding of their own thoughts and how to convey them most precisely, building a confidence in their expression and a bravery to speak the truth.

Perfect for those who write or speak a lot for their work, but feel they lack the experience or confidence to do so effectively.

One-on-one sessions in person.

Much the same as the above, we focus on clarity of communication, both spoken and written, covering bases from the technical to the broad.

These in-person sessions come with the added benefit of being conducted in an environment vital to building confidence, projection, and body language: real life.

Often these sessions take place over a walk through my local South Downs National Park, a beautiful environment within which one feels at liberty to express oneself freely and realign with nature through use of the natural voice, or at a cafe, library or similar environment.

Perfect for those who wish to free themselves of work-related burdens, prefer to use pen and paper at a table with a coffee, or simply seek to explore their ideas in an open, honest and fresh environment.
